NGE Management Consulting is a consulting firm specializing in IT project management in the finance and insurance area. We have a decade of experience in setting up and running project management processes for large scale IT projects, and supporting our clients in managing their projects' finances. A vital part of our daily work is communication on executive board level. Working on management and executive level our business strongly relies on expertise, reliability, trust. Our logo should convey this sense of credibility. Usage --- We would like the designers to create a modern logo, clean and simple with a color palette that supports both screen and print. We would like to use the logo for our website, letterhead, business cards, email signature, MS PowerPoint template, desktop wallpaper, iPhone/iPad lock screen wallpaper (upright/across), etc. Therefore, different background colors but plain white should be considered (e.g. an outside Aluminum-colored door plate). Alignment --- So far we center-aligned our logo on business cards and stationary, since we thought this position looks most professional. But we are open for alternatives, especially since we ran into problems when trying to place to the existing logo left-aligned into our email signatures or on PowerPoint slides. The logo should be versatile to use (left, centered, right, top). Design/Font --- Our clients already know the existing logo; a new design should therefore be somewhat recognizable to our clients. Please refer to the stationary and business card design samples provided. Font used in current logo is 'Arimo', in current stationary it is ‘Calibri’; however, fonts may be changed. Color --- Some background on the corporate color ‘purple’: when we first started the company, we used pens filled with ink by Cross(R), For Selectip(R) Rolling Ball Pen, No. 8014, Purple. Our clients came to recognize our work by the color of the ink used. So we decided to adapt the same purple for our logo. In our stationary we use the logo's purple color as text color in the footer for our company name, address, etc. Therefore, the logo should somehow incorporate this color. We have not been able to figure out the ink’s exact color code, but RGB 125/0/125 seemed to work quite nicely. Since this purple is a little too strong on the eye for large areas such as a desktop background, we also created a plain grey version as desktop wallpaper (refer to wallpaper sample provided).
