Any changes in the Wireless settings of a Tp-link range extender could be done through the Tether app using a mobile device. To change the network name, you first need to login to the Tp-link range extender on the Tether app then from the main screen click on the Extended network tab and change the SSID name as you want. A user must keep one thing in mind while configuring the Wireless settings the Wireless password of the tplinkrepeater.net network should same as the host network.
