<p>The best thing about being a graphic designer is the wide range of product one can produce. I love focusing on digital graphics, but also enjoy package design, photo editing, logo design and even photography.I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from ACU where many very talented teachers taught and fine-tuned my skills into what they are today.</p><p>I started out just enjoying to sketch and draw but ACU turned me on to the joy of creating with digital. I mainly use the Adobe Creative Suite programs.</p><p>I&#39;ve enjoyed finding work to do with my church congregation, family, friends, and local businesses for all varieties of projects and designs.</p><p>Fresh from college I was hired as a contract graphic designer for a local newspaper working on the advertisements. This position quickly led me to be hired on full time as the PrePress Supervisor for the Advertising Department. I became the sole designer located at the newspaper responsible for scheduling, designing, layouts, print orders, promotion of sections and workflow tasks, plus many many more hats.</p><p>I left the paper in 2018 to pursue my own dream of being a small business owner and now work with area companies and local residents for all types of graphical needs. I&#39;ve set up a Company Identity, designed business cards, designed promotional fliers for upcoming events, redesigned websites, edited photos, designed brochures, and collaborated with other local designers on lettering and signage. On an individual level, I&#39;ve designed wedding invitations, party invitations, celebration programs and taken/edited family gathering photos.</p>
