2012 win 3 contests
good job
I will submit my flier at my personal blog with the edited content since the contest has ended here.
thank you
#5 Excellent Design
APPEARANCE
In terms of appearance, the design is almost there.
Just a few things here and there to make it spectacular.
This a purely online flier so we should not be afraid to experiment with colors/styles etc.
My suggestions as to appearance:
Top—you may create some kind of mirror effect at the top below the city landscape. Do not create full mirror with the building facing upside down (no)—just a little at the foot. Will make it look more current and fun.
Middle (registration options and Roundtables) is dull.
You may hollow out the middle a little bit, it will add style, may even create more space.
The font color can be livelier.
The background color can be lighter
The bullets for the roundtables can better—(how about using leaf shapes)
The background of where the round table should have something—silhouette of a round table? People in a round table? Some kind of graphic watermark can make it more dramatic.
Findings, conclusions……can be smaller.
“REGISTER TODAY! LIMITED SEATING” Should be not just bigger, but bold (should stand out) and should be on the left as the heading of the various registration choices.
Registration choices:
The size heading such SPECIAL EARLY BIRD can remain as it is—but the words below them such as “Cost $139…”.can be smaller in size.
This will enable to create more space as we are to insert the photos of 5 or more speakers. Photos of speakers will be ready in 24 hours.

The bottom is good generally
The steps don’t look like the steps anymore. They should look as they looked in #2. We can put the speaker photos on the steps.
Finally, the color at the bottom, bright red may be better than dark red.
Add at the bottom left small letters

ROUNDTABLE CHANGES
Diaspora Participation in policy
Nurturing Diaspora biz startups through incubation and guaranteed loans
Fostering Transformational Leadership
Nonprofit sector……..the last word restoration misses an “n” at the end
Diaspora-led joint-venture investment initiatives. Insert the words “joint venture”
The question back to you is if the output can be also digital so that the links are click-able.
