Choose your preferred custom logo design (or even two or three!), and the design will be exclusively yours.
The designers were able to grasp their design style quickly and interactively, resulting in a logo design that precisely captured their needs.
Etc & Co. is a new business located in Australia. We are purveyors of apothecary style goods and we are committed to delivering high quality, natural products which are hand crafted in small batches.
We will be launching our range initially with a series of hand-poured soy wax candles presented in vintage style mason jars and will be offering a range of natural bath and body products in the near future.
Our logo/brand (and future packaging) must be neutral enough to fit into any interior décor, and present with a clean Modern Apothecary aesthetic (ie. Aesop, Le Labo).
Our target audience are Australian women aged 25-55 yrs. who are prepared to pay for top-end, high quality eco-friendly products that not only perform well, but LOOK fabulous in their home. These women are not only buying a great product, but also a “lifestyle brand image” and packaging.
Modern Apothecary aesthetic - clean, stylish and simple. We want the logo/brand to reflect the purity of handmade goods, the art behind it, the natural aspect, the fact that it is a beautiful gift to buy yourself or someone else.
We like these brand identities: Le Labo; Aesop; Barr & Co; Brooklyn Candle Studio.
Monogram - We would also like a custom AMPERSAND symbol created which can be used as a key design element in our brand identity, allowing us to use it separately to the main logo (ie. as a wax seal or laser cut wood tags). Check out how the brand UGMONK have creatively used their customised version of the Ampersand symbol in their merchandising and brand identity. Typography - can use either serif or sans serif, or a mix of the two fonts. Typewriter or vintage letterpress fonts are also an option. I like the look of inter-spacing characters too.
Logo must also translate well in both black on white, and white on black as it will be used in a hand stamped format in a variety of sizes to stamp the logo onto kraft brown packaging boxes; muslin bags; envelopes; swing tags to give it that 'hand crafted' and individually made feel (not mass produced).
Colour Palette (max 3 colours): Black or Dark Charcoal Grey/Brown; Ivory or Cream. An accent colour can be used if kept to a minimum or to add a little visual pop.
I will require the final logo, design elements, typography and colour palette details to be inserted into a BRAND STYLE GUIDE file (which I will supply to the winner). I would like all designers to take the time to browse through this brand guide on the ISSUU link below, before starting your design to ensure you have considered how the logo/brand will be used in the future for consistency of brand identity.
