Contest title: | RV Park Logo Design Contest |
Sub title: | A Pacific Northwest RV Park |
Category: | Logo Design |
Brand Name: |
Harbor Village and RV Park |
Summary: | A logo contest to assist in developing a new brand for an RV park |
Description: | This RV park, located in Washington State in the Pacific Northwest, is moving from a member-only park to a public facility and needs a new branding model. One half of the park is permanent housing, and the other half is RV spaces for overnighters. The park is surrounded by tall Douglas fir trees and on a clear day, has a view of Mt. Rainier in the distance. The logo will be used to draw traffic off a very busy nearby interstate to the park, as well as marketing the park locally, and the logo will be used on all signage. |
Design Goals: | Because we're targeting RV'ers traveling an otherwise very urban area, we'd like something "nature-ish" or outdoorsy to attract them. No specific colors in mind, though blues and greens would go well with this environment. Logo must be easy to see from a distance and include the name of the park. Will also be used on marketing collateral and website. |
Design No-Gos: | This is probably not appropriate place for some of the newer "techy" logos consisting of simple lines without much character. This logo has to make people WANT to come here. |

Does that explain it better? Thanks for asking.
Do you mean you don't want " The Harbour Village" incorporated in the logo, just "RV Park"?
