| Description: | A poster calling for contestants in the forthcoming Miss Green Planet National Pageant in USA and Canada in January 2012. We are looking for an alluring poster that is pleasing to the eye, conveys the message to the target audience, which is the college going 18-29 female. This group are usually very busy juggling job and school and saturated with multiple messages at any one time. So the poster should be arresting and irresistible. In terms of colors, we leave to the designer to mix and match as seen fit. The poster will be printed out and hang on notice boards so the key information should be boldly visible to the passerby. The output should have three different dates and venues as will be directed to the winner of this competition. Please see attached draft for info. Regarding the attached poster, please feel free to agree/disagree with the sentiments below. I have reviewed the call poster and also received some feedback from others. Here is a list of the feedback of the poster. * The poster should be one color, not with a black color background it is hard to see the writing especially if people are going to place them on a bulletin board for others to read * The bottom section with the purple is not noticed * The call for eco-beauty contestants is hard to notice in the right corner of the poster * The map of Canada with Toronto location should be taken out * The call for eco-beauty contestants should be in the middle of the poster with the information of what, where of the event at the bottom of it * Some other suggestions where to take out the boxes with the information and just place the information starting from what it is about which would be a call for Eco-Beauty Contestants for the Miss Green Planet, Where & When ( Toronto, Ontario Canada etc.) Prizes & Deadline, then include the information that you had in purple at the very bottom still http://slodive.com/inspiration/showcase/aesthetic-poster-designs/ Miss Green Planet National Pageant January _____2012 Who can participate/ Females 18-29 Prizes: The Miss Green Planet National Winner will receive $25,000 (in industrialized countries) or $10,000 in developing countries. |

Quick ones
1. The globe and green leaf has ciome out very well. I appreciate that.
2.The word Toronto at the bottom needs correction from Tronto to Toronto.
3. It looks like we will have three outputs --but that's at a later stage.
1. Colors should be green and gold. The white background is good because it makes reading easier (I line with colors in the logo)
2. “Call for Contestants” should be uniform and very visible and distinct—this is the main purpose for this –please see point #4. Call to action should be added—REGISTER TODAY. The poster should elicit action.
3. Some environmental motif—probably globe watermark
4. We can add REGISTER TODAY! Then add “to avoid disappointments” in small letters below it.
5. The logo should be at the top
6. The lettering of the heading should not be inverted.
7. Deadline is December 23, 2011
8. Canada contest date is Jan 6-7, 2012. US Contest is January 13-14, 2012, Kenya contest is Jan 20-21, 2012. These three dates should be included either jointly or separately, as part of output.
